Kyle MacLachlan Recreates Flintstones Movie Photo for the 26th Anniversary

This week Kyle McLachlan celebrated his 26th birthday. birthday of the movie Flintstones by taking a screenshot of his character from the movie. The live-action adaptation of the popular children’s cartoon, which appeared in 1994, showed how the characters could look like the Flintstones in real life. In a classic family film, McLachlan plays Cliff Vanderkawa, who can often be seen with his prehistoric fowl. MacLachlan replaced a dinosaur with his real dog and wore the same suit. On Twitter, MacLachlan posted a photo of his visit to Cliff to celebrate the film’s anniversary, and below you can see some great results.

The Flintstones, directed by Brian Levant, are directly inspired by an original children’s animated series with the same title. Live as John Goodman and Elizabeth Perkins as Fred and Wilma Flintstone with Rick Moranis and Rosie O’Donnell as Barney and Betty Rubble. The role of foil for our beloved Stone Age family was played by Kyle McLachlan as Cliff Vanderkaw, the new Vice President of Bedrock Slate & Co., who is developing a sinister plan to steal their property and blame it on Fred. Holly Berry also starred as Cliff’s assistant, Miss Stone, and Liz Taylor also had her last role in the film.

The film The Flintstones wasn’t very popular with critics after its release, but it was a big success. With a budget of $46 million, the film grossed more than $341 million worldwide, and many fans of the original animated film thought it a fairly accurate representation of reality. Due to its popularity, the next film was released four years later, when the Flintstones prequel was first presented at Viva Rock Vegas in 2000. McLachlen has not participated in the upcoming games, nor has his character, and the new actors will also play Flintstones and Chirping. This time the film was a failure, and since then no film has been made about the live action on Feuerstein.

Probably we won’t see any new Flintstones movies in the near future, but strangely enough we’ll soon have a remake of MacLachlan’s first movie. In 1984, McLachlan made his debut as Paul Atreydes in David Lynch’s film Dune, a role his fans consider one of the best. Timothy Chalamet plays the role of Paul Atreides in Dennis Villeneuve’s new film, which is released on the 18th. December will be published. Although some fans were hoping for a MacLachlan camera somewhere when the film started again, the actor categorically denied any involvement with the film, even though he said he believes Chalamet will do great.

McLachlan, who is also known for his participation in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks series, had the opportunity to return to his classic role as Dale Cooper. In 2017 he gave up his role for a new season special called Twin Peaks: Back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back. Of course the veteran actor is open for rehearsal of his most classic characters, but the most recent photo, in which he is dressed as Cliff Vanderkawa, still seems a bit random.
